M’sian govt still negotiating with China to resolve issues on MPP, TSGP projects

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 (NNN-BERNAMA) — The government is still negotiating with China to resolve issues on the Multi-Product Pipeline (MPP) and Trans-Sabah Gas Pipeline (TSGP) projects.

While only 13 percent of both the projects had been completed, a payment amounting to RM8.3 billion or 88 per cent of the total contract value of RM9.3 billion has already been paid.

Malaysian Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said experts from both countries were still negotiating on the matter and any outcome could not be disclosed at the moment as the issue involved national sensitivity.
