203 Venezuelans repatriated from US under official return program

CARACAS, June 25 (NNN-XINHUA) — A total of 203 Venezuelan migrants were repatriated from the United States on Tuesday under the Venezuelan government’s Return to the Homeland Plan, aimed at facilitating the return of vulnerable nationals.

The group — 168 men, 29 women, and six minors — arrived at Simon Bolivar International Airport, where they were received by authorities and underwent standard entry procedures.

The flight, the 37th under a bilateral agreement between Caracas and Washington, is part of ongoing cooperation in which the US deports Venezuelan migrants and Venezuela provides for their reintegration.

Officials said the program supports returnees through social policies designed to aid their reintegration and protect their right to return safely. — NNN-XINHUA
