12 Injured As Bus Carrying Scouts Overturned In Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, Oct 20 (NNN-LNW) – Twelve people, including nine children, were injured, when a bus they were travelling in, veered off the road and overturned yesterday, in Ragama, in Sri Lanka’s Western Province, the police said.

According to the police, the bus was carrying a group of scouts returning from a jamboree. Investigators suspect faulty brakes may have caused the accident.

About 20 people were on board at the time of the crash, the police said, adding that, further investigations are underway.– NNN-LNW
