CARACAS, April 25 (NNN-XINHUA) — A group of 316 Venezuelan migrants arrived here Thursday from Mexico on a flight of the state airline Conviasa.
The repatriates include 174 adults as well as 142 children and adolescents, state-run Venezolana de Television reported.
The report said that over 3,000 Venezuelans had returned to their home country through the so-called Return to the Homeland Plan during the first quarter of the year.
Launched in 2018, the Return to the Homeland Plan is an initiative to help citizens return with government support.
Venezuelan authorities have indicated that many of the migrants returning from Mexico originally came from the United States. — NNN-XINHUA
