Israel Reports 106 New COVID-19 Cases, 838,317 In Total

JERUSALEM, Apr 29 (NNN-MA’AN) – Israel’s Ministry of Health reported 106 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, raising the total number of cases to 838,317.

The death toll from the virus increased by two to 6,361, while the number of patients in serious condition decreased from 138 to 120, out of 190 hospitalised patients.

This is the lowest number of patients in serious condition in Israel, since July 8, 2020, when it stood at 113.

The total recoveries in Israel rose to 830,371, after 178 newly recovered cases were added, while the number of active cases decreased to 1,585, lowest in over a year.

The number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 has reached nearly 5.4 million, or 57.9 percent of its total population, since the vaccination campaign began on Dec 20, 2020.– NNN-MA’AN
