COLOMBO, Jun 16 (NNN-XINHUA) – The Sri Lankan navy arrested six suspects and confiscated a multi-day fishing trawler with over 150 kg of narcotics, the navy said in a statement.
The trawler, suspects and drugs have been escorted to Galle Harbour, the navy said.
The raid was carried out by the navy, around 740 km away from the Southern coast, the navy said.
The navy carries out frequent raids to detect drugs in the seas off Sri Lanka.– NNN-XINHUA
