Three Uzbeks Killed In Bus Accident In Kazakhstan

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 21 (NNN-ITAR TASS) – Three Uzbekistan citizens were killed and 13 others injured, in a bus accident in Kazakhstan, early Saturday morning, Uzbek Emergency Ministry said.

Out of the 11 injured, three were in serious condition, the ministry said in a statement, adding that, the bus was carrying 49 passengers on a highway.

Earlier statements by the Kazakh authorities said, the accident had killed 11 people and injured 29 others.

The accident occurred in the early morning of Saturday, in the Kordai district in the southern Zhambyl region, when a car collided with a truck on a highway while the passenger bus took evasive action which resulted in the bus flipping over, according to the Kazakh Interior Ministry.– NNN-ITAR TASS
