Three Servicemen Killed In Russian Helicopter Crash

MOSCOW, Jun 25 (NNN-TASS) – An Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian National Guard, crashed during a training flight, near St. Petersburg yesterday, killing three servicemen on board.

It was reported, local residents were not injured, adding that, the incident caused a fire on the ground, which has been extinguished.

The unarmed chopper belongs to the transport and combat squadron of the North-western District of the Russian National Guard.

A commission of the North-western District has left for the site of the crash, and an investigation is underway.– NNN-TASS
