
PARIS, July 12 (NNN-DAILYNEWS) — THE Assistant Director-General for Culture at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Ernesto Ottone, has pledged to enhance collaboration in the promotion of cultural activities in Tanzania.
Ottone made the pledge in a discussion with Tanzania’s Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr Pindi Chana, in Paris, France.
Moreover, the Director also pledged to support Tanzania’s preservation of its unique cultural heritage and attractions.
However, in their discussions, the two leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation between UNESCO and Tanzania in the conservation of World Heritage Sites located in Tanzania..
The meeting was attended by Tanzania’s Ambassador to France, Ali J. Mwadini, alongside other experts from Tanzania. — NNN-DAILYNEWS
