1st Cuba Multi-Destination Forum seeks to strengthen tourism alliances

HAVANA, June 28 (NNN-ACN) — The 1st Cuba Multi-Destination Forum 2025, intended to streamline efforts, strengthen strategic alliances, and make tourism more connected, sustainable, and inclusive, opens its doors at the Meliá Cohiba Hotel in Havana.

According to the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, the Forum will provide a context for meetings and talks among travel agencies, hotel chains, airlines, and representatives of brother countries with a view to devising joint projects bound to enhance regional tourism.

Multi-destination travel became a key topic of discussion at the 43rd International Tourism Fair FITCuba 2025 recently held in this city with the participation of tourism ministers of the Bolivarian Alliance for Latin America and the Caribbean – People’s Trade Treaty and the goal of designing and implementing multi-destination travel for the benefit of travelers who choose the region.

During a presentation of Cuba as a Caribbean destination to Colombian tour operators, travel agents, airlines, and media outlets, Cuban Minister of Tourism Juan Carlos García Granda urged to consider visas that can be used for multiple countries, as well as actions to increase connectivity and review border and customs requirements. — NNN-ACN
