Japan’s Sato Siblings Won Mixed Duet Tech Gold At Swimming Worlds

FUKUOKA, Jul 17 (NNN-NHK) – Japanese siblings, Tomoka Sato and Yotaro Sato, won the mixed duet technical gold medal in artistic swimming, at the World Aquatics Championships here, yesterday.

The pair scored 255.5066 points to change the colour of their medal, in last year’s worlds from silver to gold.

Spain’s Emma Garcia and Dennis Gonzalez Boneu took the silver with 248.0499 points, and China’s Cheng Wentao and Shi Haoyu matched their placing at last year’s event, by finishing third with 247.3033.– NNN-NHK
