Lebanon Receives Health Donation From Brazil

BEIRUT, Lebanon, April 16 (NNN-NNA) – Lebanon’s Health Minister, Jamil Jabak, received a donation of pharmaceutical drugs from the Brazilian embassy in Lebanon, local media reported.

“This donation reflects the efforts exerted by Brazil, to boost its ties with Arab countries, including Lebanon,” Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Paulo Cordeiro de Andrade Pinto, was quoted as saying.

The ambassador said, this donation is a small contribution to the efforts made by Lebanon, in cooperation with the United Nations’ agencies, to support Syrian refugees and Lebanon’s host communities.

Brazil will continue to support Lebanon, he added.

Meanwhile, Jabak said, he is keen to cooperate with Brazil and to build good ties with international organisations and the international community, in a bid to improve the level of the health sector in Lebanon.– NNN-NNA
