Police Arrest 10 Drug Traffickers In Afghanistan

KABUL, Jul 8 (NNN-AGENCIES) – Ten suspects have been arrested, for allegedly seven drug-related cases, over the past seven days in Afghanistan, authorities said today.

The Counter-Narcotics Police of Afghanistan (CNPA), which is part of the Afghan National Police (ANP), after initial investigation, handed over the cases to the Central Narcotics Tribunal, a special court for jurisdiction of major drug-related cases in Afghanistan, the Counter Narcotics Justice Centre of Afghanistan said, in a statement.

The CNPA also seized some amount of narcotics from the suspects.– NNN-AGENCIES
