Singapore reports 25 new COVID-19 cases

SINGAPORE, May 24 (NNN-CNA) – Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 25 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total tally to 61,824.

Of the new cases, three are imported ones, 21 are community cases and one is linked with the dormitories of foreign workers.

Overall, the number of new cases in the community has increased from 131 cases in the week before, to 182 cases in the past week. The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased from 30 cases in the week before to 46, in the past week.

Yesterday, 17 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.

In all, 61,294 have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

Altogether 32 people have passed away from complications, due to COVID-19 infection in the country.– NNN-CNA
