CMCO to be extended in Selangor, KL, Putrajaya till Nov 9

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 (NNN-BERNAMA) — The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, scheduled to end tomorrow, will be extended by another two weeks until this Nov 9.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said this was decided at the special National Security Council meeting today, after considering the current development in the COVID-19 pandemic in the Klang Valley.

Up to this point, the risk assessment carried out by the Health Ministry of Malaysia has found that there were still several areas that were still at high risk for the virus to spread, he told a press conference here today.
