Vietnam Records No New COVID-19 Cases, 1,068 In Total

HANOI, Sept 20 (NNN-VNA) – Vietnam reported no new cases of COVID-19 infection yesterday, with its total confirmed cases standing at 1,068, with 35 deaths from the disease so far, according to the Ministry of Health.

One more COVID-19 patient has been given the all-clear, raising the total cured cases in the country to 942 as of yesterday, according to the ministry.

Meanwhile, nearly 30,200 people are being quarantined and monitored in the country, the ministry said.

Vietnam has gone through more than two weeks without any COVID-19 cases in the community, according to the ministry.

The Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi, yesterday morning, saw the departure of the country’s first regular international passenger flight, after months-long shutdown, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.– NNN-VNA
