Myanmar Reports 73 New COVID-19 Cases, Six More Deaths

YANGON, Sept 17 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar reported 73 new cases of COVID-19, with six more deaths this morning, said a release from the Health and Sports Ministry.

With the newly confirmed cases, the number of the infections rose to 3,894 in the country, so far.

Six more COVID-19 patients, which include a 13-year-old child, with underlying diseases recently, died of acute respiratory failure, bringing the death toll to 46, the ministry’s release said.

Myanmar confirmed its first two cases of COVID-19 on Mar 23, and first death on Mar 31.

Meanwhile, a total of 908 patients have recovered from the disease.– NNN-MNA
