Indonesia’s COVID-19 cases rise to 128,776

JAKARTA, Aug 11 (NNN-BERNAMA) — COVID-19 positive cases in Indonesia have increased to 128,776 with 5,824 deaths so far.

Based on the Indonesian government’s official website on COVID-19, www.covid19.go.id today, there were 1,693 new cases within a period of 24 hours while 85,928 patients were being monitored.

Between noon yesterday and noon today, 58 more deaths were reported.

Jakarta Province recorded the highest number of positive cases with 26,624, East Java (25,917) followed by the 32 other provinces.

East Java recorded 1,915 deaths so far, Jakarta (944), Central Java (731), South Sulawesi (337) and the rest occurred in the other provinces.
