Individuals and SMEs affected financially by COVID-19 offered targeted repayment assistance & moratorium extension
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 (Bernama) — AmBank will be offering repayment assistance and moratorium extension to not only individuals but also SMEs, upon the expiry of the six-month loan moratorium on Sept 30,2020.
Dato’ Sulaiman Mohd Tahir, Group Chief Executive Officer, AmBank Group, said, “AmBank is now accepting requests for loan restructuring and rescheduling from customers. As per our previous announcement in June and our practise for the past few years now, we are committed to helping our customers in their times of need. We are further encouraged by the recent announcement by the Prime Minister on a targeted extension for the moratorium on bank loans.”
