US House passes bill to avert govt shutdown, measure goes to Pres Trump

WASHINGTON, Feb 15 (NNN-AGENCIES) – The US House of Representatives on Thursday passed a compromise package that funds federal operations and prevents a looming government shutdown, sending it to President Donald Trump’s desk for his signature.

The White House has said that Trump intends to sign the measure, which
passed 300 to 128, heading off a partial government shutdown that would
