Morocco, AfDB Sign 96-Mln-USD Loan To Support Employment

RABAT, Morocco, Feb 13 (NNN-MAP) – The Moroccan government and the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, signed here on Tuesday, a loan worth 96.6 million U.S. dollars, to promote employment in Morocco.

Inked by the Moroccan Minister of Economy and Finance, Mohamed Benchaaboun, and Country Director of AfDB Office in Morocco, Leila Farah Mokaddem, the loan will finance the implementation of employment projects for 2019-2021.

The loan aims to create 100,000 jobs, and offer vocational training for 111,000 young people, half of them women.– NNN-MAP
