MUSCAT, Oman, Feb 12 (NNN-ONA) – The “Sharp Dagger” naval exercise, launched by the Royal Oman Navy, in the Sea of Oman, was launched Monday, in Oman’s state of Masunaa, some 100 km from the capital, Muscat.
“The exercise was supported by Royal Oman Air Force and with the participation of a group of ships belonging to the naval forces of several other countries,” said a statement from the the Office of the Chief of Staff of Sultan’s Armed Forces.
“The implementation of this exercise comes, within the framework of the annual training plans of the Omani Navy, and with the plans to exchange experiences with friendly countries,” it added.– NNN-ONA
