5.8-Magnitude Quake Hits North Vanlaiphai, India

NEW YORK, June 22 (NNN-UNI) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8, jolted 18 km east of North Vanlaiphai, India, at 22:40:52 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 8.88 km, was initially determined to be at 23.1347 degrees north latitude, and 93.2443 degrees east longitude.– NNN-UNI
