DUBAI, May 27 (NNN-WAM) – Dubai will increase the number of workers allowed in an office at any one time, from 30 percent to 50 percent, under new measures outlined by Dubai Economy.
Other measures include, allowing 70 percent of staff in retail outlets and allowing barber shops and salons to open at 50 percent of normal capacity.
Earlier on Tuesday, the UAE announced 779 new COVID-19 cases, after an additional 28,000 tests. The Ministry of Health and Prevention also confirmed 325 new recoveries and five further fatalities.
Globally, more than 5.5 million cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, as of Tuesday, while the death toll reached 346,612.
More than 2.2 million recoveries were also reported.– NNN-WAM
