Jordanian King, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Discuss Efforts To Counter COVID-19

AMMAN, Apr 23 (NNN-PETRA) – King Abdullah, in a phone call with Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates’ Armed Forces, discussed joint efforts to counter the COVID-19.

King Abdullah and Sheikh Mohamed stressed the importance of maintaining coordination between the two countries on all issues, including humanitarian and economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The King expressed appreciation of the UAE, for its ongoing support for Jordan, especially in efforts to counter the pandemic, stressing the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and peoples.

The King also stressed Jordan’s readiness to provide any assistance needed by the people of the UAE.

King Abdullah and Sheikh Mohamed exchanged best wishes on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the statement said.– NNN-PETRA
