KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 (Bernama) — Following the announcement made by YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Malaysia on 18 March 2020 on the cancelation of Visit Malaysia 2020 (VM2020) campaign due to the COVID-19 outbreak with immediate effect, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) will take the necessary action to abide by the government decision.
Due to the Movement Control Order from 18 March 2020 to 31 March 2020 to curb the spread of COVID-19, the ministry had to freeze many tourism-related services, she said in a statement.
