Hamas Chief Rejects U.S. Mideast Peace Deal

GAZA, Palestine, Jan 27 (NNN-WAFA) – Islamic Hamas movement chief, Ismail Haniyeh, declared his rejection to the U.S. Middle East peace plan, also known as the “Deal of The Century,” according to a statement.

“We are ready to hold urgent meeting with the brothers in Fatah party, and all factions in Cairo, in order to draw our own way and unite in the battle of defending our Jerusalem and our sacred places,” he added.

Palestinian factions have slammed the U.S. Middle East peace plan, ahead of a possible announcement by the U.S. President, Donald Trump.

Trump invited Netanyahu and his rival, Benny Gantz, to the White House for separate meetings this week, to discuss details of the new peace plan.

Speaking to reporters on Jan 23, Trump said, he would unveil the long-awaited plan for Middle East peace, before Netanyahu and Gantz visit Washington.– NNN-WAFA
