Egypt Opens Medical Centre In Lebanon To Offer Support

BEIRUT, Lebanon, Jan 15 (NNN-NNA) – The Egyptian embassy in Lebanon, on Tuesday, opened a medical centre, to support the country, amid its current economic crisis.

The medical centre includes six clinics, specialised in surgery, internal medicine, paediatric medicine, gynaecology, and bones.

“The clinics will be managed by a team of doctors from the Egyptian armed forces,” the embassy said, in a statement.

The embassy added that, the centre will receive patients four days per week, and will offer its services for free, to all those who live on Lebanese territories.

“This project reflects the importance of the historic ties between Lebanon and Egypt, and the peoples of the two countries,” it added.– NNN-NNA
