KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 (Bernama) — All PETRONAS stations nationwide are now supplying Euro 4M RON 95 fuel, ahead of the Government’s gazette date on 1 January 2020.
The new fuel specifications contain just 50 parts per million (ppm) sulphur, which is 10 times less than the Euro 2M standard for RON 95 petrol. Additionally, benzene content is reduced by 30% to 3.5% while vapour pressure is reduced by 7% to 65kPa. This means the fuel is now cleaner for both the engine and the environment.
