Israel Launches Fresh Airstrikes On Gaza

GAZA, Palestine, Nov 27 (NNN-WAFA) – Israel launched airstrikes on southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday night (last night), in response to the earlier firing of two rockets into Israel, Palestinian sources said.

Residents of Gaza said, they heard the buzz of Israeli war jets, which hovered over the Palestinian enclave, while others in southern Gaza said, they heard huge explosions in the west of Khan Younis.

Palestinian security sources said, Israeli war jets targeted a military facility that belongs to the Islamic Hamas movement’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, in the west of Khan Younis. No injuries were reported.

The Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip were carried out shortly after unknown militants fired two rockets from Gaza into southern Israel.

About two weeks ago, a new wave of clashes between Israel and Gaza militants left 35 Palestinians killed and more than 100 others wounded.

The tension ended after Egypt and the United Nations brokered a cease-fire deal between Israel and the Islamic Jihad group in Gaza.– NNN-WAFA
