ANKARA, Turkey, Nov 21 (NNN-ANADOLU) – Turkey has repatriated 15 foreign Daesh suspects, to their home countries, between Nov 11 and 19, a semi-official news agency reported on Wednesday.
There are still 944 foreign Daesh suspects in repatriation centres in Turkey, waiting to be sent back to their home countries.
Ankara will repatriate most of the Daesh detainees by the end of 2019, Turkish Interior Minister, Suleyman Soylu, said.
“Turkey was not a hotel for Daesh fighters,” the Turkish interior minister said earlier, and criticised European countries for their reluctance to take back their citizens, captured and prisoned by Turkish authorities.– NNN-ANADOLU
