KUALA LUMPUR,Nov 15 (Bernama) — The 1st GWC Awards & Recognition Ceremony took place at Menara Kembar Bank Rakyat on the 11th of November 2019 after the 7th Global Waqf Conference came to an end for the evening. The 1st GWC Awards & Recognition Ceremony was graced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah binti Wan Ismail as the Guest of Honor.
The Awards & Recognition Ceremony was a private affair with just 250 guests present. In attendance were H.H Prince Dr Bandar Bin Salman Bin Muhammad Al-Saud, Chairman of Al-Madinah International University (Mediu), Waqf Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Rahimahu Allah, and H.R.H Sultan Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III, Sultan of Sokoto, Nigeria.
