Jordanian King Says Killing Of Daesh Leader Important Step In Fighting Terrorism

AMMAN, Oct 30 (NNN-PETRA) – King Abdullah II of Jordan, hailed the killing of Daesh leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, as an important step in fighting terrorism.

The King made the comment during a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, said a statement.

He also underscored that, terrorism is a common enemy that targets innocent people, without discrimination, targeting stability and human values.

The Jordanian leader vowed that Jordan will continue to exert every possible effort in fighting terrorism, on the military, security and ideological fronts, and will remain a key and effective member in the U.S.-led anti-Daesh global coalition.

Trump announced at the White House, on Sunday, that, al-Baghdadi died in a raid launched by U.S. special forces, on the Daesh leader’s house compound, in northern Syria.– NNN-PETRA
