KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 (Bernama) — Yayasan PETRONAS, the CSR arm of PETRONAS, yesteday kicked off a series of activities in celebration of Deepavali, as part of its Sentuhan Kasih programme, involving 500 PETRONAS volunteers and 500 beneficiaries from various charities, schools and homes across seven states.
Yayasan PETRONAS is working with several state agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) until 24 October to distribute basic necessities, household items, hampers as well as new clothes, worth a total of RM280,000 to less privileged families and orphans.
