Pilot Killed As Two-Seater Plane Crashes In Philippines

MANILA, Sept 21 (NNN-PNA) – A two-seater plane crashed into a rice field in Pampanga province, north of the Philippine capital of Manila, on Friday, killing a British pilot.

Pampanga police said, the incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. in La Paz, a village in Arayat town on Luzon island.

The pilot, Mark Hogget, 55, a resident of Tarlac City, died at the scene, police said.

Quoting witnesses, police said, the plane was flying low before it crashed.

The plane is a two-seater white quicksilver ultra-light, with Body No. RPS2785, owned by a local flying club.– NNN-PNA
