Saudi Arabia oil facilities ablaze after drone strikes

RIYADH, Sept 14 (NNN-Xinhua) — Two sites of Saudi petroleum company Aramco were attacked by drones early Saturday, causing fires that were later brought under control, local media reported.

The sites are located in Buqyap, some 330 km northeast of the capital Riyadh, and the Khurais oil field, said the country’s interior ministry in a statement carried by Saudi Press Agency.

It is unclear now about the casualties or the effect the attacks would inflict on the world’s largest oil processing facilities.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
