Ex-Head Of Israel-Linked Prison Referred To Judiciary In Lebanon

BEIRUT, Sept 14 (NNN-NNA) – Amer al-Fakhoury, ex-chief of Israel-linked prison, was referred to the judiciary, after admitting that he worked for Israel.

Fakhoury had been arrested by Lebanon’s general security on Thursday, as part of the agency’s follow-up and tracking of Israeli agents in Lebanon.

Fakhoury is believed to have returned to Lebanon last week, through the Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut.

Meanwhile, House Speaker, Nabih Berri, expressed his surprise about Fakhoury’s ability to enter through Beirut’s airport, while calling for investigations on this matter.

“We should open investigations into who stands behind facilitating the entry of Fakhoury,” Berri said.– NNN-NNA
