Iran, Kyrgyzstan Agree To Cooperate On Security Issues

TEHRAN, Iran, Sept 14 (NNN-IRNA) – Iran and Kyrgyzstan have signed a security cooperation deal, Tasnim news agency reported on Friday.

The agreement was signed by Iranian Interior Minister, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, and his Kyrgyz counterpart, Kashkar Junushaliev, in Bishkek, on Thursday.

During the meeting, both ministers voiced readiness to enhance security cooperation and discussed mutual efforts, for protecting regional stability, as well as, the fight against drug trafficking and extremism.

Rahmani Fazli arrived in Bishkek for a two-day visit, to hold talks with senior Kyrgyz officials.– NNN-IRNA
