RIYADH, Sept 4 (NNN-SPA) – Saudi-led coalition, intercepted Tuesday, a drone launched towards Saudi border city, Khamis Mushayt.
Turki Al Maliki, spokesperson of the coalition, said, the drone, launched from Yemeni city Imran, on Tuesday evening, was destroyed before reaching its target.
It is the second attempted drone attack by the Houthis, as the coalition intercepted the first drone in the morning.
He added that the attempts by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia are doomed to fail, as the coalition is taking the best means to deal with these aircraft.
Al Maliki stressed that, the joint forces of the coalition are continuing to implement deterrent measures against the militia, to strictly neutralise and destroy such capabilities, in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.– NNN-SPA
