BAGHDAD, Iraq, July 28 (NNN-NINA) – A civilian was killed and two others wounded on Saturday, in a bomb explosion in a minibus, outside the Shiite city of Karbala, the Iraqi military said.
The incident took place, when the minibus was crossing a security checkpoint, at the entrance of Karbala, some 110 km south of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, the media office of the Iraqi Joint Operations Command said, in a statement.
It said, security forces launched an investigation into the incident, and the minibus’ driver is under interrogation.
A medical source in Karbala main hospital told reporters that, they received a body of a civilian and three people were admitted for treatment.– NNN-NINA
