Saudi Arabia Transfers Rescued Iranian Patient To Oman

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, July 21 (NNN-SPA) – Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday, the transfer of an Iranian patient, that was rescued last month in the sea, to Oman.

The seriously injured patient was a crew member of an Iranian ship, “Safiz,” sailing north-west of the city of Hodeidah in Yemen, and referred to a hospital in the city of Jazan.

A source from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that, the ministry received a request from the Iranian Foreign Ministry, through the Swiss Embassy in Riyadh, to transfer the man to Oman, after his health has improved.

The Iranian citizen has been transferred to Oman, after necessary medical care and the stability of his health, the source added.– NNN-SPA
