Jordan, Morocco Continue Efforts To Boost Economic Cooperation

AMMAN, Jordan, July 21 (NNN-PETRA) – Jordan and Morocco agree on the need to continue efforts at all levels, to boost economic cooperation between the two sides.

At a meeting with the visiting Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, Jordan’s Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, said, the two countries see eye to eye on various issues in the region and the world.

He added that the two countries are in constant coordination on several challenges, including the Palestinian issue.

The two countries also strongly support the right of the Palestinians to create their independent state, at the borders of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Jordan’s Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, also held talks with the Moroccan official on Saturday, highlighting the potential for cooperation between the two sides in various arenas.

The two countries agreed on developing a road-map to expand cooperation in economic, investment and tourism fields, and signed a deal on cooperation in the military and technological areas.– NNN-PETRA
