Six remanded in connection with sex video allegedly involving minister

KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 (NNN) — Malaysian police have remanded six people for six days in connection with a sex video allegedly involving a minister.

Among the six were former Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz, who had publicly claimed that he and a minister were the two men in the sex video that went viral in the social media in mid June.

They six were reported to have been taken in at about 8.30pm on Sunday (July 14) for questioning in connection with investigations into the gay sex video targeting Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali.

They were brought to the Kuala Lumpur magistrate’s court on Monday to be remanded for six days.
