KIEV, Jan 13 (NNN-UNIAN) – Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, yesterday, submitted bills to parliament, proposing the extension of the country’s current martial law and mobilisation, the parliament’s press service reported.
If approved, both measures would be extended for an additional 90 days, until May 4.
Lawmaker, Yaroslav Zheleznyak said, parliament is expected to consider the bills later this week.
The martial law and general mobilisation have been extended multiple times since they were first introduced in Feb, 2022, in response to the ongoing conflict with Russia.– NNN-UNIAN
