President of Djibouti received Prime Minister of Ethiopia

DJIBOUTI, Jan 12 (PRENSA LATINA) — Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh received Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for talks on issues of bilateral and regional interest.

Ahmed, on his Twitter account, revealed that they discussed geopolitical dynamics, peace and security in the region, and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

On this last point, he emphasized that they focused on trade, logistics, and development, reaffirming their shared commitment to stability, economic integration, and mutual prosperity.

Ethiopia and Djibouti maintain a deep and strategic partnership crucial for regional stability, based on a shared history, culture, and economic needs.
