KABUL, Jan 10 (NNN-BNA) – Five members of a family were killed, when their vehicle lost control and overturned in northern Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province, yesterday afternoon, provincial police spokesman, Ehsanullah Kamgar, reported.
The accident occurred in Taraq region of Argo district, resulting in the immediate deaths of all five family members, Kamgar said, adding, the accident was due to a technical failure and poor road conditions.
The tragedy follows a series of deadly accidents in western Herat province on Wednesday, when five people were killed and 16 others injured in multiple road incidents.– NNN-BNA
