KATHMANDU, Jan 8 (NNN-XINHUA) – Four people were killed and 23 others injured, in a bus accident on the outskirts of Kathmandu last night, a police official said.
The bus, carrying around 40 people, plunged about 100 metres off a highway, leading to the fatal incident.
Pawan Bhattarai, spokesperson for the district police range, said, some of the injured are in serious condition.
The bus was carrying picnickers, who work for an organisation based in the capital, and police are investigating the cause of the accident, Bhattarai added.– NNN-XINHUA
