5.5-Magnitude Quake Hit South Of Fiji Islands – USGS

SUVA, Jan 8 (NNN-FBC) – An earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.5, jolted south of the Fiji Islands at 2200 GMT yesterday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 547 km, was initially determined to be at 23.43 degrees south latitude, and 179.90 degrees west longitude.– NNN-FBC
