ULAN BATOR, Dec 30 (NNN-APA) – Mongolia’s measles death toll has reached 12, after one more related death was registered, the National Centre for Communicable Diseases (NCCD), said, today.
Meanwhile, 22 people remained in hospital, including four critically ill children, the NCCD said, in a statement.
The NCCD advised parents to protect their children from the potentially severe disease by getting them two doses of the measles vaccine.
Measles is a highly contagious viral disease, transmitted by respiratory droplets and direct contact.– NNN-APA
