Kyrgyzstan’s 2025 Consolidated Budget To Exceed 12 Billion USD

BISHKEK, Dec 9 (NNN-KNA) – Kyrgyzstan’s consolidated budget for 2025 is expected to exceed 1.1 trillion soms (around 12.58 billion U.S. dollars), surpassing the trillion-som mark for the first time in the country’s history, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, said yesterday.

The country’s approved consolidated budget amounted to 708.8 billion soms, ending the year with a 153.8-percent increase of 381.7 billion soms and a budget surplus of over 10 billion soms, Kasymaliev said at a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting.

He noted that, Kyrgyzstan’s GDP for the first 10 months of this year amounted to more than 1.4 trillion soms, with an annual growth rate of 10 percent. By the end of the year, this figure is projected to reach over 1.7 trillion soms, which is 155.6 billion soms more than the approved target.

According to the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, by the end of Oct this year, the country’s international reserves neared eight billion dollars, with an increase of around three billion dollars, year over year, said Kasymaliev.– NNN-KNA
